Annual Grants Reception

The Foundation requires a minimum of $10,000 to establish a Sub Fund, if needed this can be achieved in instalments over three years.

Many of our supporters choose to extend their generosity by leaving a gift to the Foundation in their will. A bequest is a meaningful way to ensure your legacy continues to benefit the Geelong community for generations to come.

By signing below, I/we request the establishment of a Sub Fund within the Geelong Community Foundation. I/we acknowledge that:

• All gifts become part of the Trust Fund of the Geelong Community Foundation Fund, the Geelong Community Open Fund or the Geelong Community Foundation Education Scholarship Fund and do not form a separate fund.
• A management account (also referred to as a Sub Fund) will be maintained by the Trustee for the recording of gifts from the Donor and others.
• Should the balance of the Sub Fund be less than $10,000 after three years, we will consult with you on whether you would like to make any further contributions to your Sub Fund or if existing donations will be transferred to the Foundation’s Community Fund.
• The Foundation manages investments and grantmaking in line with its policies and vision.
• The Trustee may amend the Sub Fund name if required by law or regulation.
• The Foundation will only accept gifts that align with its mission and values.
