Tony McManus

Tony joined the Foundation as Development Manager in June 2018.

Tony’s background includes the role of the ﬁrst Independent Chairman of a Headspace local consortium and was also an active supporter of the establishment of the Lara and District Community Bank.

After selling his Lara based Real Estate business he established a Sub Fund with the Geelong Community Foundation. Tony has been passionately promoting the Mental Health Solution of Social Connection through Mentoring and Volunteering via his Facebook page “Connect 2 Grow”. He enjoys Volunteer Tourism trips to places like PNG & Outback Australia.

He is a Community Ambassador for RUOK? and a sought-after Speaker in Corporate and Community Forums about coping with Mental Health issues.

Thanks to the incredible support of Give Where You Live Foundation and the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), we can do even more to help local students thrive.

Through these partnerships, Give Where You Live and FRRR have established fundraising accounts on our behalf, enabling us to receive donations for the School Voucher Program that wouldn’t otherwise be possible due to our fundraising status.

This allows us to purchase and distribute vouchers to schools, ensuring students in need have access to essential supplies throughout the school year.
