Chris Wilson

Director & Chair of the Investment Committee Masters of Commercial Law (Deakin), Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance) (RMIT), Diploma in Financial Planning, Governance Foundations for Non-Profit Directors (AICD), Giving Academy Advanced Program (Centre for Social Impact)

Interests: Outside of work, I'm happiest when I'm moving – trail running, surfing, and mountain biking. But more than any of that, the time I carve out with my three kids is what I treasure most. Whether we're in the ocean, the mountains, or simply together in front of the TV, those are the moments that matter.

Geelong and the Surf Coast are fundamental to who I am. The Geelong Community Foundation gives me the opportunity to honour that and to put my passion for philanthropy to work in the community that helped shape me.

Having grown up in Jan Juc and been educated in Geelong, Chris is now a Partner at Koda Capital and co-founder of the firm’s Philanthropy & Social Capital team. He works with clients to develop their philanthropic strategies and provides governance, investment, and strategic advice to charitable and non-profit organisations.

With over two decades in financial services, Chris has deep expertise working with high-net-worth families, corporations, and charitable institutions. Prior to Koda Capital, he was a Director of JBWere’s Philanthropic Services team.

Chris is also a Director of the Betty Amsden Foundation, and has previously served as Chair of the Reach Foundation and as a Founding Committee Member of Impact100Melbourne.
