Education Scholarship Funds
Establishing a Scholarship Fund with the Geelong Community Foundation is a deeply meaningful and tax-effective way to invest in education and create opportunity for future generations.
About Education Scholarships
Education Scholarships are a powerful way to support young people in our community—helping them access pathways that may otherwise be beyond reach.
Scholarship Funds provide vital financial assistance for students in Years 11 and 12.
For many students, this support can be transformative, easing financial barriers and enabling them to fully realise their potential.
Donors have the opportunity to create a Named Scholarship Fund that reflects their personal or family commitment to education.

Scholarships That Create Lasting Impact
Through the Foundation’s trusted stewardship and strong community partnerships, your scholarship is carefully managed to ensure it delivers meaningful, long-term impact.
It is more than financial support—it is an investment in local talent, confidence and leadership, empowering young people while creating a legacy that endures.
Our scholarships are designed to support students in achieving educational success and are offered as general education scholarships or for those pursuing pathways in agriculture, horticulture, and related fields.
Funding may be used to support:
- Payment of school or course fees, as well as textbooks and essential IT equipment
- Costs associated with camps, excursions and other educational experiences
- VCE Exam preparation costs and tutoring
- Expenses related to apprenticeships, VET courses, diplomas or university degrees
- Attendance at workshops or programs aligned with a student’s career aspirations
