Adroit Annual Charity Golf Day

Adroit Insurance and Risk, along with our community partner the Geelong Community Foundation, will host its 19th Annual Charity Golf Day at 13th Beach Golf Links, Barwon Heads on 17th March 2022. We are proud to say the event has grown to one of the largest in the Geelong fundraising calendar, with teams of four coming together to compete for the prestigious Meatball Cup raising much needed funds for the Geelong Community.

Since its inception over one million dollars has been raised for local causes, including projects such as Gateway Support Services, the Kids Plus Therapy Play Space, Bethany Men’s Centre, Barwon Child Youth and Family Street Surfer Bus, St Laurence Sensory Garden, Karingal Life Long Learning & Education room and St John of God Hospital.

The last Adroit Charity Golf Day Grant in 2019 provided $100,000 to Gateway Support Services for the refurbishment of 7 units to provide a home to young people with a disability. This project is now complete and already making a tremendous impact on the Geelong Community.

This year Geelong Youth Engagement (GYE) were selected as the successful recipient of 2021 Golf Grant. GYE run programs that target young people who have been identified as ‘at-risk’. The $75,000 grant will enable GYE to purchase a bus to transport participants to the program, a vital missing piece that will have a huge impact on the success of the program. Any additional funds raised will go into the Adroit Insurance & Risk Golf Day Sub Fund with the Foundation and distributed as part of the annual grant round.
