Starting a named Memorial Gift Fund you will be creating a philanthropic legacy for your loved one, your family and friends. You will enjoy the experience of observing the impact of your initiative supporting a broad range of community organisations in our region and your nominated area of interest.

After someone passes away, those left behind are sometimes motivated to further honour a loved one in a lasting way. Sometimes it is a reflection of their care for others. Or it is just the concept of their name being associated with helping people.

Leaving a gift in your Will to the Geelong Community Foundation is a really meaningful way to ensure that your legacy lives on in the community that we all love.

Bequest funds donated are listed as a sub fund in your family name. These are recorded annually in the Foundation’s Annual Report, unless anonymity is requested. Friends and family can also add to this named Gift Fund at any time. Gifts to the Geelong Community Foundation are held in trust by the Foundation under terms agreed by you.
