261 donors to P500 2022!

We did it – 261 donors! Sincere thanks to the 261 donors who have signed up for P500 2022. This is a record result, smashing our target of 250! The P500 Committee is so excited to have achieved this outcome. Thank you again for sharing the journey of collective giving with us through P500, which will provide a significant grant for the community. This wouldn’t be possible without your support.

2022 grant

Given we have exceeded our target for this year, the P500 grant amount will exceed $64,000. We are finalising the grant calculation now with grant applications to open by Friday 19 August.

The theme for the P500 grant is ‘community wellbeing’, so we are seeking applications from organisations that are supporting our community through wellbeing services and support. If you know of an organisation that could benefit, please share this information with them.

Grant applications will close on Wednesday 14 September. They will be reviewed by our Grant Review Panel that will include two donors who have volunteered to be involved. The panel will select the three strongest applications for this year’s shortlist.

P500 Vote Night

Save the date! This year’s P500 Vote Night will be on Thursday 24 November at Geelong West Town Hall from 5.30-8.30pm. On this special evening, the shortlisted organisations will pitch the program for which they are seeking funding. P500 donors will vote on their preferred organisation and we will announce the organisation with the most votes on the night.
