Albert Jennings Memorial Fund
Albert Jennings
Albert Jennings was born in Port Campbell and moved to Geelong as a young man, where he married, raised three daughters and lived until his death. After working in a variety of roles, he established A&MJ Jennings Wrought Iron in 1977. Some of the projects most identifiable in Geelong are the decorative gates at the Geelong Botanical Gardens and the Cunningham Pier upgrade. His wrought iron gates, fences and balustrades also feature on many private homes, both historical and recent, around Geelong.
Outside work he contributed by volunteering at his local church and TADVIC where he assisted with designing, making and modifying equipment for people with a disability.
This Fund will continue Albert’s legacy and contribute to areas that interested him.
