Ross & Noele Cook,    Noele and daughter, Kristin

The Cook Family has a lengthy background in Geelong.

Continuing the legacy of their parents, Ross and Noele Cook have made a significant impact on the Geelong Community for numerous years. After Ross passed away in 1975 at the age of 45, Noele assumed control of Cooks Buslines while also caring for her 4 children: Kristin, Sally, Jonathan, and Jane. Noele played a role in promoting the welfare of the Geelong community by participating and leading in organizations like Soroptimists, the Ambulance Board, Karingal, St John of God, and advocating for women to hold important political roles in the state. She was indeed honored with an OAM for her efforts in the Geelong Community and advancements in women’s status.
