H & M Munday Fund

Both Harvey and Michele have lived in Geelong all their lives. Harvey Started Des Munday & Son with his father in 1971, distributing engineering supplies to local industries. Michele opened “Michele’s” fashion boutique in 1995. Together, they thrive on hard work and family time.

The Munday family have been known for their generosity over many generations dating back to James Munday in the late 1800s. It is incredibly important for both Harvey and Michele that they continue to support the Geelong Community through their Sub Fund.

At the Geelong Community Foundation, we believe every child deserves the best possible school experience - regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.

Thanks to the incredible support of Give Where You Live Foundation and the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), we can do even more to help local students thrive.

Through these partnerships, Give Where You Live and FRRR have established fundraising accounts on our behalf, enabling us to receive donations for the School Voucher Program that wouldn’t otherwise be possible due to our fundraising status.

This allows us to purchase and distribute vouchers to schools, ensuring students in need have access to essential supplies throughout the school year.
