John O’Shannassy Fund

John O’Shannassy’s introduction to the Geelong Community Foundation was via the P500 charity, firstly by way of a $500 donation and attending the end of year grant award evening. From there, he joined the P500 Committee, learning about the many charitable organisations in and around Geelong but also importantly meeting the people who work and also volunteer their time to make these organisations successful. Wanting to donate locally, he sees the Geelong Community Foundation as an excellent way to reach and distribute funds to many charities throughout the area.
