Max & Nancy Neagle Fund

Max moved to Geelong from Ballarat as a child, and later qualified as a pharmacist. He met Nancy at church youth group. After a long courtship, Max and Nancy decided to marry and open a pharmacy in an area of need. So, they moved to Lara and opened the Lara Pharmacy. Nancy became the shop assistant. Once children came along, Nancy continued to fill that need when there were staff issues. Together, they built the business, established connections and friends in the community and supported various groups and charities in the area and were active members of the Lara UCA. In retirement, they returned to live in Geelong. Max died in 2020 and Nancy decided to establish this fund to continue their support of the community.
