They now have multiple businesses in retail, IT, importing and a property develop business – BCC Group Australia. Most recently, they completed the “Mercer” project, the first residential apartment tower over 15 stories in Geelong.
Matthew and Min are both active in community work including being the past and present President of the Chinese Association in Geelong. They are also been the naming and major sponsor for the PAKO festival in past 20 years.
Matthew said “we have very successful businesses in Geelong with much support coming from the locals. Now it is time to pay return to the community and being part of the Geelong Community Foundation has helped us to achieve that. We also choose the Foundation because our contributions will accumulate over the years, with only the investment return on the Fund distributed to community organisations, ensuring the Foundation will last generation after generation”. Matthew and Min are also donors of the Anam Cara project in Geelong and other charity events.
