Amy Waters

Amy joined the Foundation as Program Manager in March 2023 and commenced as Chief Executive Officer in September 2024.

Amy is a passionate leader and grants professional with a focus on social justice, inclusion and a thriving Geelong.

Amy has significant leadership and grant-making expertise, with eight years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary and diverse teams in both federal government and the for-purpose sector. Amy has led several large-scale initiatives including establishing the NDIA’s grant management approach for the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) Grant Program and designing the NDIA’s national approach to Partner delivery of ILC. Amy also has extensive fundraising and management experience at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
