2023 Grants

Directors of the Geelong Community Foundation approved $1,340,250 in grants for 2023/24 to community organisations supporting people in the greater Geelong Region.
Grant allocations for 2023/24 are provided/calculated based on funds raised to 30 June 2022.
This year, members of the Grants Committee reviewed more than 83 applications seeking over $3m. The Foundation approved 47 grants for a diverse range of programs.
Applications were prioritised with a focus on the “needs” of the community. This included: domestic violence, mental health, substance abuse, social inclusion, environment, migrant/refugees, education and food security.
The Foundation has been making a difference in the Geelong region for the past 23 years, working to deliver long term sustainable change. Believing that smarter giving, results in a bigger impact, now and forever.
