Thread Together provides Foundation 61 participants with a box of new clothing, which is really special considering many arrive with very little.

Last week, one participant received her box and was so overcome with emotion in resulted in this 🥹

It has now become a House of Hope tradition that groups open the boxes together and celebrate the gifts received by each participant, which come complete with handwritten notes from Thread Together volunteers.

Today, our Schools in Philanthropy participants made their formal presentations to our Foundation board.

The groups made their grant recommendations, delivered their rationale, and reflected on their learnings throughout the program.

A huge thank you to our mentors including CEO Amy Waters, Freda Wright and Janine Smith, our board chair Michael Betts and the rest of the Foundation board, and of course participating students for their excellent work 🤩
